Benefits of raisins

Benefits of raisins.  Benefit of Raisins

Dried grapes, i.e. raisins, contain about three times more healthy antioxidants than fresh grapes. A preliminary review has found that raisins contain more antioxidants than any other food.

The dried form of red and green grapes contain chemicals that protect the body cells from the destructive effects of oxidation.  The excess of nutrients in dried grapes or raisins compared to fresh grapes is not surprising because when the fruits are dried, their compounds are more concentrated.

If 30 grams of raisins are eaten throughout the day, it is equivalent to eating 170 grams of grapes.  However, it is also a fact that grapes are high in vitamin C and phytochemicals, and processing them into dried fruit wastes a large amount of these nutrients.  Raisins also provide us with significant amounts of potassium, fiber and some minerals.

Dry fruits are also high in sugar, which in turn increases the calories. Raisins are the best thing to eat as a light snack.  This is the reason why many medical experts encourage children to eat raisins, apricots, potatoes, manka, and dates instead of sweets and toffee.

Raisin is constipating, increases weight of weak people, does not increase cholesterol.  Teza is useful in bait and gas.  Removes anemia.  Reduces fever caused by viruses and bacteria.  Makes bones strong.
