Today We Will Learn How To Make Biryani.
Essential Ingredients for Biryani:
2 cups rice (basmati or slaw rice)
500g meat (chicken, beef or mutton), cut into small pieces
2 onions, finely chopped
2 tomatoes, chopped
1/2 cup yogurt (or khoi)
1/4 cup salt
1 teaspoon red chili powder
1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon hot spices
4-5 tbsp oil (ghee can also be used)
2-3 green chillies (finely chopped)
One chicken or mutton broiler
4-5 tbsp coriander leaves (for garnish)
The method of preparation:
Wash and soak the rice in water for 30 minutes, then drain well.
Heat oil in a large pan and fry the onion until golden brown.
After that add the meat and fry till it turns.
Then add tomatoes, curd, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and hot spices and mix well.
After the meat is cooked well, add the rice and mix.
Now add chicken broth, green chilies, and coriander leaves to it, uncover and let it simmer for 30-40 minutes.
Biryani is ready! Serve hot.
